Hi, i am writing my own texteditor. On 2.1 i got notified when the keyboard showed up via performPrivateCommand(); , I just flashed my galaxy to 2.2 and the method isn't called any longer.
Btw. on the emulator, the keyboard even never shows up.
So anyone know I could get notified? In addition I would like to know how much space the ime will take from screen. :D
Edit: Since i discovered, that you cannot set Icon for a shorcut programmatically in Samsung's 2.2 FW, i think it could also be a bug of Samsung. Anyone know if it works under 2.2 on a nexus one for e.g?
