How to prevent all rows of an NSTableView being selected at startup

I am new to Objective-C. I am using NSArrayController to fill NSTableView. Initially, I am getting all rows selected in the table view. I am unable to find the reason behind it.

What does this huge mass of code have to do with anything? Is it a solution to your problem? If so, what was the problem, and how does this code solve it? If this isn't the solution, is it the code that people asked for in the comments on the question? If so, then you should edit it into the question, not post it as an answer.
