When writing correctly formatted CD-Text to the lead-in of a USB CD/CD-RW the device returns
SK 0x04 ASC 0x08 ASCQ 0x05
This is not documented in the MMC 3-5 specs. Does anyone know what it means?
The resulting CD does contain CD-Text as expected but I am unsure of why the error status.
Identical code writing to the same disk in a SATA connected drive works without complaint. Again the resulting disk contains the expected Cd-Text.
