Gridview Performance Issue

Hi All,

I have one ASP.NET Application (VS.NET 2005). In that i have one scenario where i have to display 500 records per page (Not less than that bcoz this is client requirement to display 500 records per page) in the Gridview. This functionality is working fine but the application is becoming very slow.

Can anybody tell me the solution for increasing performance in this case ????
