So i'm developing an application that has to be released the same day the website launches. since we don't have an exact control when the app will be approved i'm putting it up for approval now.

but what happens then ? is it automatically in the app store ? can we (or do we ..) keep the application on hold .. when do we need to put a price on it, the day you put it up for approval or when it gets approved ..

are there things we should know ?

I would guess once it's approved it's going to be added to the store. This is not to be construed as a "Google It" answer, but I would highly suggest actually contacting Apple support and getting the low-down straight from them.

You can set a "release date" when you upload the application to Apple for approval. Once your app is approved, it won't go live until that date.

Hello, I was wondering if I was to find someone to build my APP and lets say that there were over sea's, what happens when there done building it for me? How do I see the work? How do I get all the information to Apple to try to get in the APPstore. My concern is what happens when my APP is done. I have the Idea for the APP, I pay someone to build it and then what? Thanks, MIke

they can send you a copy for adhoc distribution so you can test it on your iphone then they just have to package it and send it over to you, you just have to get an iphone developer license and you can add it to the appstore for approvel in the admin interface from apple you get after signing up for an iphone developer license check http://developer.apple.com/iphone/ you can find all information there
