I recently moved to a new machine and forgot to make a backup of applicationHost.config before mucking around with IIS7's settings using both appcmd and the Management Console. I would now like to restore IIS7's settings to their original state, but I don't have a backup of the original settings to restore from.
By the way, I do know about IIS7's configuration history feature, but unfortunately it defaults to only saving the 10 latest versions and I made way more than 10 revisions. So does anyone know where I can get a fresh, unmodified copy?
If no one knows of an official avenue I can get a fresh copy from, if anyone out there has a copy (generally found at: C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\config) that they'd be willing to e-mail me, let me know and I'll get you my address.
