So, I got a new laptop with oodles of everything, and chose vista 64 bit to actually use all my new ram for something.

Now I realize that my companies usual VPN server is some Checkpoint server, and Checkpoint have not seen fit to build 64bit versions of their software.

I know Windows come with a built-in vpn client, but to use it, I will have to have an administrator set up a corrosponding vpn server at the office. Not impossible, but I would like to be sure that it will meet my requirements.

Can anyone tell me what the primary difference between the Checkpoint software and the built-in Windows VPN client is (in laymans terms)?

What I used from Checkpoint: - Officemode (access all machines like I was in the office I guess?) - Able to access both internet and vpn-network simultaniously

Thanks in advance.
