Here's a list of every city and town in the US. You'll have to put everything together and then search for irregular characters.

Hate to say it, but that list is *not* complete. Cut 'N Shoot, TX is not in there (and I've learned from experience that Oracle EBS doesn't have the correct name in its database!).

I've used ZipCodeDownload's product http://www.zipcodedownload.com/ in the past (note: I do not work for the company) and found that it's a good product, I notice that it's currently listed at $30, making it practically a steal. @Roy Like Jon said you could then search this to search for irregular characters.

Well, using the list given by Jon B, I looked at states where probability for such name is high, like Hawaii -> Āhualoa, Āhualoa, Hōnaunau-Napoʻopoʻo, etc. Single quote (apostrophe) and dot aren't uncommon too.
