I had a non-wildcard App ID in the iPhone Program Portal, and my current app in the store uses this App ID.

However just recently I logged into the Portal and the App ID no longer exists. It is no longer present in the list found on the App IDs page.

When I try to create an App ID with the same reverse-domain and keyword combination, the page responds with

The bundle identifier you have specified is already in use. Please select another.

  1. What has happened to my App ID?
  2. Can I create another App ID, use that to sign an update to my app and submit that to iTunes Connect and expect everything to work as per usual?
