Hi all, i have below requirement and i dont know how much it is feasible.
A video post processor resides between video decoder and video renderer (a wrapper over display driver usually). A video preprocessor resides between camera and video encoder. Both does processing of video data like rotation, flip, brightness/contrast adjust, white balance etc.
We need to add our pre and post processor module into the system. So if these functionalities are already there, we need to replace them. Or if they are not there, we need to add.
Post and pre processor will run just above the driver layer (camera or display driver) as they have huge impact on multimedia performance.
We want to know the feasibility of adding these in lower layer – that is inside the framework. Other frameworks (like Symbian, android) has provision of adding new modules. Do these apple’s platforms allow us to tweak the framework?
