If I am not wrong, iPhone Voicemail Greeting is stored on AT&t voicemail servers. We are planning to design an iPhone app (for NON-JAILBROKEN phones) to upload a music file (.amr format) to set user's voicemail greeting. Is there some kind of webservice or a protocol available to connect to AT&T voice mail server to do so? (iPhone's Phone app might be using some kind of protocol to store the greeting on the voicemail servers.. any reverse engineering tip if this information (the protocol or the webservice) is not publicly available?)

Have been Googling for the past two days but no luck. There seems to be some workaround for jailbroken phones but that approach is of little use to us.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, Sid
