Hi , is there any impact of macfee on subversion?

Actually we were getting the below Cannot can't open .svn\tmp\tempfile.tmp: access is denied . When i started searching on this, i found few articles saying like there is a impact of macfee antivirus on subversion.

http://blog.mxunit.org/2009/03/cannot-cant-open-svntmptempfiletmp.html.

I am a new user to subversion. Please let me in breif about this?

I don't see how McAfee could affect your local working copy unless it contains binary files.

Only if the repository contains files for creating a virus! ;-)

I have McAfee running on a Windows XP machine where I also use Subversion and haven't noticed any problems. The projects under version control don't contain any executable binaries. But I can imagine scenarios where something weird could happen. As Chris, said, if you checked out something containing a file that McAfee didn't like.

I guess a reasonable answer would be probably not, but there could be.
