How to refresh a particular portion

Hi, I'm new in flex.I'm trying to show some images from a folder with flex.Suppose when the flex application is running that time some images inserted that images folder and on the front page(flex) have a button.When click that button just refresh the portion where the image shown without whole page refresh. How can i do the whole process.Please guide me with tutorials.It will really helpful for me.
