Hi,

How to I disable anti-aliasing for fonts in the Windows version of Emacs 23?

Thanks.

You can specify the antialias=none option for your fonts, as stated in GNU Emacs Manual

More explicitly, you hit `M-x customize` and then choose `Faces` and again `Basic Faces`. There you will find the default face where you can turn off the anti-aliasing.

+1 for the `M-x customize` tip

Hello, I managed to turn off antialiasing for the default font. The thing is that when I switch to typing greek characters, although the same font is used it appears antialiased. Is there any way to switch off antialiasing for greek characters as well?

You may want to ask this as a separate question as I am the only one who sees updates and do not have an answer for you.

The question might also be better suited for http://superuser.com/ , you could try asking it there.
