A lot of clients are asking if my applications support a Blade Server. I wonder if I have to consider something especial in the development or is only hardware with a standard OS (Windows) on it.

All the ones I've seen can run a standard OS. Only limitations might be less RAM/processing power/etc. Like scaled down servers.
