Does anyone know some and could point me to it?

I know there is a good series on pragprog but not for free.

I'm a fan of "big" tutorials where something gets build up step by step and you come out with an application. Do you know any of this kind?

Here is an interesting 1 hr demo called "Exploring Erlang" given by Bob Ippolito of PythonMac fame. Probably not exactly what you're looking for, but worthwhile nonetheless.

Thanks for the link. Very interesting.

Not the first thing to watch to get started in Erlang, but having read a tutorial and tried a couple things, this talk shows off a lot of Erlang's features.

On spawnlink.com exists one of the better tutorials on the OTP platform. Actually a far better introduction into the OTP system than in any Erlang books I have read. But it does not go into the basic Erlang programming though.

That looks like a nice one. Thanks!

The best Erlang tutorial I know is "Learn You Some Erlang". Fun to read, and covers just about everything you need to know in order to get started with Erlang.
