Converting to iPod formatted mp4 files with ffmpeg?

Question

Im looking to convert videos uploaded to my site to a format that ipods will play. Can anyone suggest a good command that will let me achieve this? I haven't had much luck.....

This ruby script will do converting with ffmpeg automatically for you. YMMV.
