Since migrating to Fedora 12 from 11, i've been getting daily kernel panics. I think it might be related to virtualization, but i just cannot tell. I've been trying to set up kdump in order to get the info i need but when i try to start the kdump service, i get: ls: cannot access /sys/class/net/br0/device: No such file or directory

this is correct, there is nothing there and br0 is the device i use for networking. the underlying device is eth1.

is there some way to specify what to use? or maybe to stub in something for the br0 device to fool the service start up?

additionally, after a kernel panic, the nfs share does have the /var/crash directory structure (though empty) so i know it's able to get across the network, just not for starting kdump.
