I am a newbie and developed a sample application for BlackBerry with Multiple Screens, following a book.

What are the controls i should use? Does it require custom control development?
I have designed a login form, and i want to authenticate it through http? whats the best way to avoide Man-In-Middle attack, i mean whats the best security measures i should take.
How to know whether a user is logged in or not, as there is content available for logged in users.
What technique or method should be used to transfer the data from server to client. How to validate session or user on server side script. i mean i dont need any code, just a guide line would help me.
Please suggest and guide me to the best approach and practice. Thanks SIA
