AIX: lsdev vs lspv

Question

Hi guys,

I'm using AIX and today I had a problem with one IBM server, I found that one of my hdisks was damaged. But I found a curisoity:

$lspv
hdisk0          000d891c32aae9b6 active
hdisk1          000d891cb504fd70 active
hdisk2          000d891cb532544d active
hdisk4          000d891cb532544d active

$lsdev -Cc disk
hdisk0  Available  
hdisk1  Available  
hdisk2  Available 
hdisk3  Available  
hdisk4  Available

why I can see hdisk3 with lsdev and I can not see it with lspv? I read the documentation http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/powersys/v3r1m5/index.jsp?topic=/iphcg/lspv.htm but I still have the question.
