SVNkit not working on UNIX

I am trying to checkout files on Unix using SVNkit. The same code was working on Windows box. Am I missing something here?

svn: handshake_failure: remotely generated; fatal svn: OPTIONS request failed on '/svn/repos/branches/Package1' Error code desription:: RA layer request failed Error code:: 175002
