Hi, I installed IIS Media Services 3.0, and the Big Buck Bunny sample, but when I try to get the manifest file (http://localhost/Big_Buck_Bunny/Big Buck Bunny.ism/Manifest), I get 400.0 Bad Request error from the SmoothHandler. So the default.html appears in the browser, but the SL player shows error while trying to read the manifest. Anyone knows what can be the problem?

Resolved. An URL Rewrite rule changed the requested URL.

I have this same issue, and unfortunately snatch-02's resolution does not help me. I have no rewrite rules set up on my test site. Just to be sure, I uninstalled IIS URL Rewrite entirely. I still get 400s when trying to hit this page in a browser. Specifically, my test installation is at bunnyhost - where bunnyhost is mapped to 127.0.0.4 in my hosts file. I am trying to hit http://bunnyhost/big%20buck%20bunny.ism/Manifest and getting a 400. As a comparison, hitting video3.smoothhd.com.edgesuite.net/ondemand/Big%20Buck%20Bunny%20Adaptive.ism/Manifest (a frequently cited public example) gives me a 200 status xml response. Anybody have more ideas about what could generate these 400s?
