HTTP web server and web server

Is there any difference between 'HTTP web server' and 'web server' or both are same?

I would interpret them the same. You might say "HTTP web server" implies no HTTPS, but that's pushing it.

No such thing as a "HTTP Web Server".

Web Servers (such as IIS, Apache Tomcat) handle HTTP (and HTTPS - Secure HTTP) page requests. Some also support other forms of data transmission, such as FTP.

HTTP Web Server uses HTTP Protocol to serve webpages, images etc..

But Web Server means a server that is on the web, which can work on some protocol.

I think people mean HTTP Web Server when they say Web Server mostly.The Computer or VM that runs the Web Server application is also called a Web Server.
