m3u8 stream not working on jailbroken iPhone

Hi,

I have set up wowza on our company server and its working fine, serving m3u8 streams to iPhone 3G, QuickTime player, iPhone simulator etc. Any idea what might be preventing this stream to play on a jailbroken iPhone 3.1.3?? It doesn't give any error just shows up the file like a normal text file.
