autom4te-2.65: need GNU m4 1.4 on Windows cygwin

User > ~/mysql-5.1.46
$ automake
....
sh: fork: Resource temporarily unavailable
autom4te-2.65: need GNU m4 1.4 or later: /cygdrive/e/cygwin/bin/m4
automake-1.10: autoconf failed with exit status: 1

I did run ./configure and want to do make now..
Please suggest
