Hi,
I want to organise my private software development process and I plan to use JIRA together with SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise and Perforce.
I have already installed and configured this "pack" for evaluation purposes on desktop machine. For a clean production environment I want to migrate (of course with a clean install) all those tools on a vServer with Windows Server 2003 R2 Datacenter x64 and a guaranteed RAM size of 2 GB.
Unfortunately, I don't really know if these 2 GB are reserved for applications only or for the operating system together with the applications. How is this handled usually?
Would you say that 2 GB for applications only would be enough for my setup for a handful projects and a maximum of two concurrent users?
