Hi,
I am looking for a non branded Wordpress Plugin, which allows Users to chat with each other. It must have the option for a private conversation and should display the User Names. Can anybody recommedn anything that fulfill my requirements?

This one seems to fulfill all your requirements. It also has screenshots demonstrating private conversation and displayed usernames.
EDIT: What version of WordPress (3.0.x, 2.9.x?) are you using?
this one returns 2 php errors during the install and afterwards, too.

You could consider posting a question about the errors on the plugin's <a href="http://wordpress.org/tags/bowob?forum_id=10">forums</a>, although they do look a little sparse. <a href="http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/envolve-chat/">Envolve</a> may be another option, but it too is only compatible up to 2.9.2.

Ah. All of the ones I've found that have decent ratings and relatively high numbers of downloads haven't been updated recently enough to guarantee that they'll work. Sorry I can't help :/
