I'm looking into VPS for LAMP and wanted to see if any of you have an opinion to help me decide between Linode and Slicehost? Pro, Cons and overall opinion will be much appreciated.

I've been with Slicehost for over two years now. I've been very happy with them. I've never had problems with load in the machine, the bandwidth allowance is generous, and the web console is dead simple.
I can't comment about Linode as I haven't had service with them.

I have had similar experience with Slicehost. I was planning on using http://webbynode.com/ for new projects, though.

You might want to look at Slicehost vs Linode. I've heard only good things about Linode and you seem to get more RAM for less money with their plans. Memory seems to be botht he most useful and most expensive aspect to VPS pricing so I'd be inclined to go with them.
I don't think you can go wrong with either however.
