Hi I can't seem to get this right. Basically if the value of a select list is either "USA", "CAN", or "MEX" it should return true. any other value should return false. This only returns true if the value is "USA"
$.validator.addMethod(
"ReutersNA",
function(value, element) {
var selectedCountry = $("#Country").val();

I'm new to JQuery and don't have a huge background in Javascript, either - so that could be contributing to my problems... I'm trying to dynamically generate a list of items and bind click events to each of the dynamically generated elements. Currently it takes the second to last item in the array from the URL. However I want ...
I have a standard <select> and would like to open it when a user clicks on another element. It's pretty simple in a regular browser and even on the iphone, but for some reason nothing working on Android.

I have the following DOM structure:
<div id="module-main">
<div id="module-crumbs">

When I place that in a document and view it, it works fine. But if I build it from jQuery like so:
$('#module-main').append($('<div id=\"module-crumbs\" />'));
$('#module-crumbs').append($('<h4/>').html('Hello'));

Hey guys,
I'm working on a jQuery function that forwards form data to page without interfering with the normal submission. I can do it without any issues as long as I capture the submit using .submit(), but I would have to run my own validation on the data because it operates independently of the regular submission. Is there a way for j...

I am using a TWebBrowser control inside a Delphi Pro 6 form (TForm) to view a YouTube video on YouTube's "leanback" interface page. I read here that "self Refers to the current window or form".
Self does not seem to refer to the current form in this case:
<form><input type="text" onkeyup="alert(self.foo.value)" name="foo"></form>
However in this case it works (referring to the window):
<form><input type="text" onkeyup="alert(self.document.forms[0].foo.value)" ...

This happens in all browsers, so there must be a reason.
Example:
<html>
<body>
<script>var a="support/";
var aa='<iframe src="http://google.com/' + a + '" />';
document.write(aa)</script>
<script>alert('test')</script>
</body>
</html>
The code after the iframe write (in this case alert('test')) doesn't execute. Why?
