Hi, I'm trying to sort an array of objects by a common property, however I cannot get my $property parameter to register in the inner function (I can use it in the outer one OK).
The way I read the documentation, it sounded like the parameter would be available, have I misunderstood something?
Here is what I have:

Hi,
Just wondering, would the following code arrangement cause any issues when calling mysql_connect, i.e.:
public function connect() {
mysql_connect($this->host,
$this->username,
$this->password)
or die("Could not connect. " . mysql_error());
or does it need to be all on one line, i.e....
Currently my MySQL data stored like below

puma,adidas | 100.00,125.00
puma | 80.00
reebok,adidas,puma | 70.00,100.00,125.00

How to combine, explode, merge and total it like this in php?

Hello there,
I have no idea whats going on. But I have a script that looks like this. Cron job refuses to run it:
include_once 'class_lib/mime_mail/mimeDecode.php';
include_once 'class_lib/Mail/IMAPv2.php';
include_once 'inc-functions.php';
include_once "$_SERVER[DOCUMENT_ROOT]/class_lib/DbFuctioneer.php";
$dbFuctioneer = new DbFuctio...
I have done this in all my previous versions, but I can't get it working in CS4. I have updated the MMDocumentTypes.xml file to add inc to the php section. Restarting Dreamweaver does not help. I even updated the Extensions.txt file, and that still does not work.
Has anyone had this issue?

I want to separate the output of HTML from my program code in my projects, so I wrote a very simple database class.

Hi Guys!
I'm new on testing, I'm using PHPUnit to write test. All the site has been designed using the MVC pattern.
I would like to test each method on my controllers, the problem is that such methods receives the parameters though the $_POST variable. How can I overwrite this variable?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
I'm writing an application in CakePHP that, for now, is to be used to make quotes for customers. So Quote is a model. I want to have a separate model/table for something like "Property," which may be used by other models.
Each time a user gets to the "Add Quote" action, I basically want to pull a Property called "nextQuoteNumber"...
This is my scripts.js

document.getElementById("txtHint").innerHTML="";

}
else
{// code for IE6, IE5

Well, not my server. My friend found it and sent it to me, trying to make sense of it. What it appears to be is a PHP IRC bot, but I have no idea how to decode it and make any sense of it.
Here is the code:
<?eval(gzinflate(base64_decode('some base 64 code here')))?>
So I decoded the base64, and it output a ton of strange characters, ...
I've been working on creating a form that submits content into my database but I decided that rather than using a drop down menu to select the date I'd rather use a textfield. I was wondering what changes I will need to make to my table creation file.
<?php mysql_connect ('localhost', 'root', 'root') ;
mysql_select_db ('tmlblog');

Hey
Recently I'm interested in post's structure of Wordpress.
They use a table named (wp_posts) and in this table they saved 3 related fields such as :
post_title
post_name
guid
It's clear that they save title of each story in post_title field ,
and slugs in post_name ,
and full url of a post in guild filed .
But where the hell...
Hey there
I'm trying to find a way to check if some IDs are already in the DB, if an ID is already in the DB I'd naturally try to avoid processing the row it represents
Right now I'm doing a single query to check for the ID, but I think this is too expensive in time because if I'm checking 20 id's the script is taking up to 30 seconds

I have a cookie which stores info in an array.
This is for a classifieds website, and whenever users delete their 'ads' the cookie must also be removed of the ad which was deleted.
So I have this:
if (isset($_COOKIE['watched_ads'])){
$expir = time()+1728000;
$ad_arr = unserialize($_COOKIE['watched_ads']);

I wrote a command line utility using Zend Framework to do some nightly reporting. It uses a ton of the same functionality the accompanying site. It works great when I run it by hand, but when I run it on cron I have include path issues. Seems like it should be easily fixed with set_include_path, but maybe I'm missing something?

Is there any way to use PHP code to query a DNSBL (block list) provider and find out if the IP address submitted is a bad actor?
I would like to take an existing IP address out of a registration database, then check whether it's a known block-listed IP address by performing a lookup on it, then if it's a blacklisted, do an action on it ...

I need to send full objects from Javascript to PHP. It seemed pretty obvious to do JSON.stringify() and then json_decode() on the PHP end, but will this allow for strings with ":" and ","? Do I need to run an escape() function on big user input strings that may cause an issue? What would that escape function be? I don't think escape ...
So, there is going to be one login form; however 1 of 3 types of members will be signing in member_type_a, member_type_b, member_type_c all of whom have some of the same properties, and some whom may have specific methods and/or properties to them.
