Hello,
I'm currently trying to learn Numpy and Python. Given the following array:
import numpy as N
a = N.array([[1,2],[1,2]])
Is there a function that returns the dimensions of a (e.g.a is a 2 by 2 array).
size() returns 4 and that doesn't help very much.
Thanks.

Hey,
I'd like to convert an array to a set in Java. There are some obvious ways of doing this (i.e. with a loop) but I would like something a bit neater, something like:
java.util.Arrays.asList(Object[] a);
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Pete

I'm fairly proficient in HTML/CSS, but very new when it comes to the likes of PHP and Javascript. I just hit a huge wall though, hence wh...
I'm wondering how to convert a List of one type to an array of another type in Java using Dozer. The two types have all the same property names/types.

Why does the "in" operator in Javascript return true when testing if "0" exists in array, even when the array doesn't appear to contain "0"?

This returns false, and makes sense:
var x = [1,2];

However this returns true, and I don't und...

I have trouble reading Postgresql arrays in PHP. I have tried explode(), but this breaks arrays containing commas in strings, and str_getcsv() but it's also no good as PostgreSQL doesn't quote the Japanese strings.
Not working:
explode(',', trim($pgArray['key'], '{}'));
str_getcsv( trim($pgArray['key'], '{}') );
