Hello,
I am currently trying to install multiple services using ManagedInstallerClass.InstallHelper.
The code execution goes smoothly when I install the first service, then gives an error stating that a service with a same name already exists.

Is there a way to create the server side of something similar to S3, iDrive, Dropbox, etc in strictly PHP? The end goal would be to allow users to map a drive or folder to our servers using an app that already exists for one of those popular services.
In other words, I don't really want to write the client on the OS side, but rather im...

This problem has defeated my attempts at Google, so here goes. We were having an issue getting data from a WCF service (just lookup data, so we enabled it for HTTP GET requests). Every once in while it will return a 404. The stack trace does NOT appear to have WCF in the mix - the StaticFileHandler appears to be attempting to serve it...

If I run the php script using php.exe, it works.
If I run the php script using apache running fr...

I am calling a VC++ DLL from a windows service that was written in C#. The DLL handles all interaction with the WFP. When compiled as a console app, everything works fine (as long as I run as administrator). When compiled and ran as a service, the DLL fails on FwpmEngineOpen0(). This is the same symptom that I received when I didn't run ...

Hi, my plan is to develop or use a Java-based integration framework (ESB, SOA whatever) that deals with services, with the following constraints:
a Service can be deployed on multiple machines but doesn't have to be present on every one of them
a Service can be deployed and re-deployed (with a newer version) separately
a Service is con...
We recently identified a problem with one of our databases where as a result of a 'fire & forget' setup (i.e: conversations being closed immediately after sending), our sys.conversation_endpoints table was filling up with DI/DISCONNECTED_INBOUND messages. This eventually spilled over into the tempDB, causing it to grow enormously and eat...
