What days of the years should I know about as a programmer?

As Pi Day just passed, I was wondering if there are any other days relevant to programmers.

This is a good place to list them all...

There's one I know of, similar to 3.14. It's the 3rd of December, but it's for 3D people, not programmers in general. Still if you take part in 3D-engine coding you could celebrate it with your 3d artwork team ;)

I wonder if the winner of the Turing Award is announced on the same day every year. If so, that would be a candidate.

Programmers Day- The day is unofficially celebrated on the 256th (reason: 256 = 2 to the power of 8 = the number of values representable in a byte of data) day of the Gregorian calender year. Therefore, it usually falls on September 13, and on a leap year it is on September 12.

There's PI approxmiation day on 22/7. But also Alan Turing's birthday on 23rd June should at least be remembered

There was that one special day but I can never remember if it's 31 Oct or 25 Dec since they are equal ;o)
