I'd have thought this would be a native feature (seeing as joomla allows you to connect contacts with user accounts) but we can't find any way to do this! does anyone know of any extensions/modules that would allow this?
I'm not so hot on PHP so i'd really love to not have to code this by hand!

Is it possible to deploy any CMS (Content Management System) using Google App Engine? Wikipedia lists 4 Python CMSes and one of them is Django based.

I'm thinking about building a website to have some kind of public facing content, but at the same time, I would like to be able to build modules and plugins without too much of a hassle. I'm looking at things like Wordpress, Joomla, and Drupal, but I'm wondering if anyone has personal experience in using and (more specifically) developin...
Hello,
I work at a company which uses a legacy content management system based on php utilizing templates. I am fed up with it as it is vastly inferior to modern CMS' (i.e. Drupal), particularly due to poor AJAX implementation capability and general confusion of branched out template tree. It is within my power to switch to a newer CMS ...

Hi,
In magento, I have SEO url rewriting enabled, and it is working fine - apart from:
tags (showing as site/tag/product/list/tagId/1/)

RSS feeds (showing as site/rss/catalog/category/cid/3/sid/1/)

Hi!
I'm making a requirement analysis for a customer who is about to change CMS system. Today they have a tailor-made system, and they now want to pick a standard tool instead. The customer is a medium-size, non-profit organisation. They want a licence free, open source alternative. The organisation consists of one central HQ and about ...
For my next web site I would prefer not to write everything from scratch. At the same time I don't want to be looked to much into a framework. So I would like something that I can use at all levels.
Access the DB (SQL Server) directly (The DB layout should not be much more complex than a self written app)

I've just picked up a contract to sort out a vipers-nest of e-commerce websites that a previous 'developer' left for one of my clients. There's about a couple of dozen of them using a custom shopping cart and CMS system that's too embedded to dump and works well enough, but desperately needs cleaning up, re-factoring, and bug fixing, so...
How can I speed up site development with a particular CMS if I need to build a lot of sites?

I'm looking for a place to put a few GB of documents (mostly .doc and .xls). I'm looking for a blogging tool with some light CMS features in Ruby on Rails. I mainly want something simple, but configurable. I'm thinking of either using Mephis...
