I am Using Colorbox as a Pop Up with a Chat Button that appears.
How Can I make it so it only Pops up on the users 1st visit to the page?
Or Maybe it Pops up every 3 Visits?
Here is the Page I am Testing with:

Given that its "$([])", it's trick...
I would like to have some Javascript code running in a web browser write to a Google Spreadsheet in the user's Google account.
The Javascript API is a bit long-winded, involving lots of round trips, but does seem to work. I can successfully log in, create a new spreadsheet, read values from it, update cells, etc. However, I haven't yet ...

I understand the difference in behavior. Date() returns a String representing the current date, and new Date() returns an instance of the Date object whose methods I can call.
But I don't know why. JavaScript is prototyped, so Date is a function and an object which has member functions (methods) which are also objects. But I haven't wri...

Hello everyone!
I am using ScriptX to print a page. It is a part of functionality that this page is refreshing after some interval.
The inclusion, in this page, of ScritpX object is making this window to take focus.
I am sure that the ScriptX is the cause of it, so don't go into that direction with your answer.
Getting the object t...

Hi. There are numerous plug-ins to preload images, but is there a way to preload javascript? My application uses a big js file and it take about 5 seconds or so to load before the page shows... so, is there a way I can display a "loading message" while I somehow preload the script? (A sort of 'Loading...' like in Gmail)
Thanks

I remember stumbling upon a benchmark comparing jQuery vs GQuery (run time selectors) vs GQuery (compile time selectors).
Once the site was loaded one could click "Start" and the benchmark (mostly CSS selectors) would run for all three versions and present the results (overall time spent) after finishing.
Unfortunately, I cannot find it ...
