I am implementing a content sharing service, similar to Twitter and Facebook button. When the user visits a page, he will be able to click on my button, which will open a page in a new window that lets the user interact with my service. My service use 2 parameters: the current page's URL and title.

How picky is JavaScript and Jquery when it comes to good programming technique and correctness? Specifically What I mean is, I got some custom code to work and do basically what I want it to do but I'm sure that if any decent developer saw my technique they would have a major WTF moment.
I'm not a good developer by any stretch, in fact ...

Hi all,
I'm having trouble logging keystrokes in javascript on the iPad. The following script works on Chrome and Safari, but not iPad Safari. The bluetooth barcode scanner sends 12 digits as keystrokes, then sends a return character. Does anyone have any ideas?
I think you will need an iPad to try this out :)
Thanks,
