I want to set an attribute of a DOM element using element["attribute"], but the value is URI encoded. For instance, if the value is q=test&r=123&s=456 and after I append it into the DOM, the value becomes q=test&r=123&s=456.

I have a UL that contains items that the user can click on and move from one list to another. I have a function to inspect the list item and move it from one list to another and it works well -- except for one problem.
The list item contains an image (which also responds to the click event). So if my user clicks on the image (essenti...
I'm thinking I'll have to wait for the video to finish loading, then set up an interval (at 1/24 sec.) to get the current frame data, for the duration of the video. But that seems pretty hacky and looks like it might skip frames and such…

Scott Gu wrote an excellent article explaining how to apply the Data Annotation validation in ASP.NET MVC 2. I have implemented the items in this article for the server-side work, and it works well. I get back error messages when there is a problem.
I tried to add the code to also hook in client-side error messages (so a message is disp...

Hello!
I have a div that I slide in and out.
To do this I just increase the height by 2px every second until a preset height from a height of 0.

Thank you.

I really want to make use of multiple background support (Webkit, Firefox 3.6+), but I would like to provide an alternative solution for browsers that don't support it. (IE, Firefox 3.5-).
Is there any way to detect support for this CSS feature? Or will I have to resort to browser sniffing?
EDIT: Javascript solutions are welcome
