I can make them work separately without any problem, but when the localisation plugin is loaded and I clic on a link that launches a facebox modal, the ajax request start...
I want to add "Yes" and "No" buttons to my window. It's a bit similar to standard MessageBox, so I would like to use localized strings in these buttons. I.e. "Yes" and "No" should be written in OS's current language.
How can I do this?

What would be the best practice for sharing localization object (in this case ResourceBundle, where I do save all translations) across many GUI objects in app? I have few ideas, but both have drawbacks:
1) passing ResourceBundle via each GUI class constructor, but then I need to save it inside every class (for later use) - means having ...
I am trying to setup Spring MVC 3.0 to support localization. The messages are in messages_en.properties and messages_fr.properties. It works, but I cannot figure out how to support localized JSP pages. I have tried naming them sample_en.jsp for example, but it does not work.

Hi
I have a question about mirroring the JDialog window controls (ie the close sign 'X', the title and so on)
When I apply the right-to-left component orientation for a JDialog, it flips everything within apart from the window controls. I initially thought this is to do with the JRE I was using and the operating system regional languag...
Hi,
I'm currently doing a project for a client in Dubai, where the currency is AED. Throughout the project I used {0:c} assuming that setting the local in web-config would sort me out.
I set the culture in web.config using:
<globalization culture="ar-AE" />
This used arabic symbols for the currency, which I assumed the client would ...
According to the Ruby docs for Time#zone:
As of Ruby 1.8, returns "UTC" rather than "GMT" for UTC times.
My OSX-using comrades see this behavior.
On my Ubuntu 9.10 system, however, Ruby 1.8.7 seems to prefer the old "GMT" terminology:
$ ruby --version
ruby 1.8.7 (2009-06-12 patchlevel 174) [i486-linux]
$ ruby -e 'puts Time.now.ut...

I'm working on internationalizing and localizing an ASP.NET app, and I'm running into problems with cases where string literals are mixed with markup. Like this example:
Acme Carpet Retailers <a href="#" class="link" id="ssoLoginUrl"

For most string literals I'm using the Local...
I am creating a multilingual site that will need to support at minimum five different languages, including Korean and Chinese. The site language is ColdFusion, so Java is the native language. I want to make the site as easy as possible for the next programmer to update, and for third-party translators to use tools that will work easier f...
Hi,
I'm using URL based localization logic in my MVC app.
so, default route would be mysite/someControler, and localized route would be mysite/en-US/someControler.
"en-US" is value for "culture" parameter which has default value.
I'm wondering what is there any generic way to switch between cultures, and keep all the url route values...
I'm using the gwt visualization library to display motion charts in a gwt app. However, the language shown in the chart is random (different language every time it loads).
This:

says I can set it, but only through the load method. But the GWT load m...
I need to make a database that is highly localized. For almost all entities I need a translation to 5+ languages. Some entities even require and additional resource localized (like images which I enter as paths).
The question now is:

should I create a "Localized" localization lo...
I have a standalone winforms application localized in 4 languages. For authentication and security reasons, I had to embed the main control in internet explorer (to be able to use an authentication session cookie created earlier when the user sign-in with his browser).
I embedded the control in IE by making my assembly and main control ...

We have an ASP.NET MVC website, it allows the user to choose their language by clicking a link at the top of every page. This link essentially sets a cookie that indicates the user's language choice. The ASP.NET MVC code look...
I'm in the process of localizing a website. I was going to go the way of setting a cookie to the preferred language, and then display the respective language. And, if no cookie was set it would use the preferred language header, as set by the user's browser - and if the header was not set then it would default to English.
So - how does ...
I've got the code below, and I'm trying to set the from field to allow unicode. Currently in my email client I get "??".
The subject line and any content shows the unicode correctly. And looking at the MSDN the property should be "urn:schemas:httpmail:from".
Anyone solved this issue?
Thanks
